The Twelve Crafting Days of Christmas

After 5 years of being a stay at home mummy, next year I plan to return to “Real Employment”.  It occurred to me that this would probably be the last year I would be home with kids during the month of December to really enjoy and savour the Christmas build up.

I wanted to make the most of it so we got busy during December doing lots of Christmas crafting, kids cooking and attending various Christmas events.  Here are some of the crafting and cooking projects we got up to.
The First Day of Christmas
Toilet Roll Candles

The Second Day of Christmas
Toilet Roll Snowmen
The Third Day of Christmas
Christmas Tree Baubles
The Fourth Day of Christmas
Scented Christmas Trees
The Fifth Day of Christmas
Handprint Holly Wreath
The Sixth Day of Christmas
Plastic Cup Reindeer
The Seventh Day of Christmas
Lollipop Stick Reindeers
The Eighth Day of Christmas
Candy Cane Reindeers
The Ninth Day of Christmas
Paper Plate Snowman
The Tenth Day of Christmas
Lollipop Stick Tree Decorations
The Eleventh Day of Christmas
Winter Strawberries
The Twelth Day of Christmas
Edible Christmas Trees
We had so much fun making all of these creations and have stored many of them away to use as decorations again next year.

This Moment #9

{This Moment} - A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

As if I would ever be able to choose just one photo when it has been Christmas.

The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photograph ~ Author Unknown

I often mention on Facebook how difficult it is to get a picture of both children together and both looking at the camera, so I thought I would share with you a recent attempt to get one such shot.
